Successfully Implemented/ or being implemented community projects.

Since its establishment in 2001, HAERDO (Gaaroodi)
implemented several community based projects targeted at selected beneficiaries in Hargeisa and Hawd area.
Funds for all of the projects implemented by the organization were raised through voluntary contributions among members from around the world.

HAERDO has multi sector focus in its interventions. However, HAERDO has been concentrating its activities on education.
In this respect, the organization implemented projects targeted on the construction, rehabilitation, extension, and furnishing of schools in the target communities.

The organization specifically targeted Salahley district, where it had managed to successfully establish and maintain the only boarding school in Somaliland.
In addition, the organization contributed to the ongoing rehabilitation of Bali-Matan and Labi-Sagaala schools in the district.
