Objectives
of HAERDO.
The objectives of HAERDO include,
among others.
1. Encouraging support and
seek funds for local community
development initiatives in the
areas of health and education.
2. Mobilizing donor support
for grassroots development projects
projects in target communities.
3. Facilitating and/or organizing
awareness on the practice and
danger of HIV and FGM, conduct
training workshops with the objective
of promoting community empowerment,
sustainable development and environmental
conservation.
4. Promoting animal health
care to improve productivity and
market competitiveness.
5. Advocating for the Improvement
of the livelihoods of the people
in Hargeisa and Hawd.
